A longtime educator, Kristen embarked upon her second career in 2017. Choosing the real estate profession seemed a natural extension of her calling to serve others. Whether that means teaching high school English, helping family and friends, or finding the perfect home for her client, Kristen is a giver; of her time, knowledge, talents, and so much more.

Having been raised in Southern California, Kristen has an in-depth knowledge of neighborhoods and trends from the inside out, both in San Diego and Southern Orange County. Added to this, is her ability to multitask, developed from years in the classroom. When she takes on a project, Kristen immerses herself in it completely, both looking at the big picture and handling the details until the desired results are achieved.

A graduate of San Diego State University with a B.A in English, Kristen’s educational background has proven to be extremely valuable in the real estate field as well. Her teaching experience has equipped her with the communication skills needed to deal with a wide variety of situations. She has been a real estate investor herself since 1986, having bought and sold over 20 properties. During the course of many of these transactions, Kristen often felt a disconnect between herself and the agent involved, resulting in the unnecessary stress and frustration that comes from a lack of communication. She frequently felt shortchanged by the answers and guidance she was given, often feeling like she needed to pry the relevant information out of the agents involved. As an agent now herself, Kristen has a keen sensitivity to her clients’ need for information and meets that need with clear, timely communication.

Kristen has joined forces with Windermere Homes & Estates, and with Post Group Real Estate, a team in the Windermere family, giving her access to over 50 years of direct experience to draw on from her supporting team alone.

Raising three successful, college-educated children has been her proudest, most meaningful work; now Kristen is ready to work for you, or anyone you know who could benefit from her experience, communication, and caring commitment.

In her free time Kristen enjoys serving at church, golf and tennis, live music, travel, and many other interests.
